The josephians witnessed Independence Day celebration with great patriotic fervor. Let there be freedom in mind, body and soul, faith in words, pride in your nature. Let us salute to those great? men who made it possible. The chief guest on this great day was Mr. Amit Kumar Dubey, Block development officer, who graced the occasion. Sr. Sheela the president of our school, Sr. Leo General Counsellor of OLP were heartily welcomed. The programme commenced with prayer, national pledge, followed by welcome speech, patriotic songs and action songs by the tiny tots. Then the senior girls portrayed our rich heritage through their dance moves. Then at 10.15am our president Sr. Sheela hoisted the national Flag, the pride of India. Though we are heading towards growth and development there are many social issues to be resolved. This was presented by the senior students through a skit. Then our honorable chief guest, Sr. Sheela and Sr. Leo were presented a memento as a token of gratitude. ICSE and ISC toppers were awarded for their excellent performance in the board exams. The chief guest through his motivational message asked the students to live hard continuously for the progress of the nation. That we should be determined to be successful in our venture and lead India to a great progress. The program ended with Sare Jehan Se Achcha. The day evoked strong feeling of patriotism, respect for our heroes and determination to lead India to be the most powerful and progressive country.
